    January 7, 2010

Ideal for Large Homes and Commercial Projects

Cambridge, ON – GeoSmart Energy is kicking off the New Year with another stellar addition to its already impressive line of Premium geothermal products. The company’s recently released Premium H Series hydronic units offer a top-of-the-line water-to-water heat pump system that reflects GeoSmart’s longstanding commitment to cost-effective and efficient heating and cooling solutions.

The new Premium HT and HS series units come housed in GeoSmart’s trademark heavy gauge stainless steel blue cabinets and feature the latest in quiet integrated scroll compressor technology. Homeowners and business owners alike will appreciate the units’ efficiency when it comes to providing hot water for radiant floor heating, domestic hot water, pool heating, and snow and ice melting. The hydronic units can reduce hot water costs by as much as 60 percent each year.

The Premium HS models feature a high efficiency single stage scroll compressor and are available in 1.5 to 6 nominal tons, while the Premium HT units feature dual single stage scroll compressors and come in the larger 8 to 15 nominal ton capacities. ThermaShield foam insulation increases the efficiency and consistency of the heat exchangers, and all units use environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant.

“Our new HT series has been specifically engineered for large residential and commercial applications,” notes Chad Brezynskie, GeoSmart’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “For the first time we have units available that eliminate the previous need to install more than one heat pump in larger homes and businesses. Now with our expanded hydronic line selecting the right unit to meet a home or business’s heating and cooling needs has never been easier.”

  • GeoSmart’s geothermal technology to be featured in Port Dover model homes

    November 20, 2009

Thanks to a formal partnership between GeoSmart Energy and Alliance Homes, new andprospective homeowners in Port Dover are about to discover firsthand why geothermal is quickly becoming the preferred alternative for efficient and cost effective heating and air conditioning. GeoSmart Energy is in the process ofinstalling environmentally friendly geothermal technology in 2 model homes at Alliance Homes’ Dover Coast development.

Drilling was recently conpleted at the adult lifestyle resort community to prepare for installation of the ground loop system that will be used to tap into the free and renewable energy stored in the earth. Featuring GeoSmart’s industry-leading PE100 green geothermal pipe, the ground loop will connect to a Premium G heat pump in the model home’s basement, generating year-round indoor comfort. The attractive compact unit can dramatically reduce annual costs for heating and cooling by as much as 75 percent compared with conventional furnaces and air conditioners.

“Alliance Home’s Dover Coast development is a showcase for geothermal’s exceptional heating and cooling efficiency,” says Chad Brezynskie, GeoSmart’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing who notes that GeoSmart’s geothermal heating and cooling systems are standard on homes being built on 50’ lots.  “What better way to demonstrate geothermal than to allow prospective homeowners the ability to experience its heating and cooling properties firsthand.”

Geothermal systems will also be installed in the 425-acre development’s golf course club house and recreation centre. The feature is optional in homes on 40’ lots.

Alliance Homes has established a heating, cooling, ventilating and air conditioning division (HVAC) dedicated to the installation and service of GeoSmart branded geothermal systems in the Dover Coast development as well as current and future Alliance Homes projects. All installers will benefit from GeoSmart’s nationally renowned customer-focused installation training program.

The Dover Coast development features bungalow townhomes and detached designs for every lifestyle and budget. For more information about the Dover Coast development and how you can tap into geothermal energy alternatives, visit the Alliance Homes website at www.alliancehomes.com
